Breast Lift
 

Breast lift is a medical procedure to cure sagging breasts. Sagging can be caused by breastfeeding, aging process or just the natural state of the chest. By doing breast lift, it can dramatically alter the state of the breast to make it firmer.

Breast lift is suitable for women who are healthy and desire for younger looking breast that will look better in a dress or shirt. The breast lift procedure is done by removing some of the skin at the lower part of the breast. This is done to reposition the breast so it will face upward, different from the sagging condition where it points down. This step also involves the repositioning of nipple and areola so both of it will face upwards. The lower part of the breast is cut. This cut will produce scars but patients do not have to worry, as the scar will fade gradually over six to twelve months. The cut was made from the center of the areola downwards. Then, the cut will end at the fold of the breast. However, the exact location of the scar is highly dependent on the individual. This is because for some people, more tissues and skin need to be removed so the breast will look symmetrical and proportionate to the body.

In order to keep the new breast formed after the surgery, patients will need to wear a special bra. This special bra will need to be worn for a certain period after the breast lift procedure. Patients will be able to wash their body and take shower after a few days.
